"Dear Becky, Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at Rivermont this past week! The house was wonderful...The kids were thrilled with the location and everything, including the "loft" ! Matt (13) gave the chipmunk that came to the feeder every morning a name. He really enjoyed the view from his room. Amanda (15) enjoyed being able to walk out onto the deck from her room and she thought the bathroom setup was "cool". The dog ( BJ ) just liked everything !.....better than a fenced in yard! We did the 2 mile ( moderate-strenuous ) hike up Mt Mitchell with BJ. It was awesome! We alternated days between "family day" and looking for property days. The family days included hikes and the caverns. It was one of the most relaxing family vacations we have had in a long time. I think the kids are all hiked out for now though. Anyway, thanks again for helping us have a wonderful time! Between all the info you sent, the info at the house, and the house itself, it was impossible not to find a good time! "
