"My husband and I, a writing friend, and my daughter stayed for a week with a clear view of the bay in Pacific Grove. Each sunrise morning on the deck we watched the otters play and each evening enjoyed the lights of Monterey across the bay. Sunny days, foggy days--didn't matter! Close to everything, yet we had to tear ourselves out of the house since it is so nicely appointed with a full service kitchen. This is truly a beach house with a view. My friend and I write Japanese short form poetry, so imagine how touched we were with the aesthetics of a beautifully designed Japanese garden surrounding this house! Lots of good recommendations for dinner, complimentary passes to the aquarium, a bottle of local wine to greet us...we will be back!!!"
